Shindig Red is fresh, classic, and a showcase of how well both vinifera and French-American hybird grapes can play together. Corot Noir, a new-generation hybrid, has a bouquet like Merlot and a naturally appealing acidity. It also delivers beautiful color and cherry fruit. A touch of Malbec lends a mysterious darker note, bringing a little backbone to the overall blend. There is no residual sugar in the wine, allowing it to be classical while showing off its fruitiness.

Process
Shindig Red was born to be a juicy, fruit-forward red wine to drink in its youth. Both Merlot and Corot Noir were first fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation, with French oak staves placed in-tank to enhance color and structure of the wine. The final blend saw an addition of Malbec for some darker fruit notes.
