2014 Shindig FIZZI

Shindig FiZZi is a super-fresh, zippy, brut-style sparkling wine with balanced fruit. There are flavors of pineapple, star fruit, lemon, nectarine, and pear skin, with the slightest touch of sweetness. Pleasantly fine bubbles and a Gala apple finish really satisfy when you want a clean-tasting bubbly. The Finger Lakes shines on this wine expressing the crisp, clean fruit and mineral notes indicative of the terroir.

Process

Shindig FiZZi was made in a simple manner to preserve its crisp freshness. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at cold temperatures, the Vidal was fermented to near dryness, and then transferred to a high-pressure tank to carbonate and turn into sparkling wine.

A lip smacking, thirst-quenching, food loving wine, Shindig FiZZi is a perfect aperitif and matches shellfish, sushi, white fish, or mild cheeses.It’s also wonderful to use to make sparkling wine cocktails such as a Kir Royale or a Bellini - just add a splash of your favorite juice or nectar.
