Like its sibling Social Club White, BOE’s Social Club Red is a medium-bodied everyday, go-to red blended in the style of a Bordeaux grand vin. An intense, earthy nose of spices, bark, pepper, and chocolate is confirmed on the palate, with additional flavors of dried cherries, blackberries, pomegranate, and soil. Our 2012 vintage is medium-bodied with a velvety mouth feel. It’s an easy drinking style that will warm you up!
77% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Corot Noir
North Fork of Long Island
Stainless steel fermented separately, the various lots were aged in second and third year French oak barrels for approximately 14 months to get the oak effect without it dominating.
This wine exhibits an elegant, structured style that loves food! Burgers, BBQ, bacon, chili, pork, duck, lamb, charcuterie, and meat-based pasta sauced all pair very well.
