Crafted in a Burgundian method, this golden-hued Chardonnay exhibits a subtle creaminess matched with great acidity and structure. Our sixth vintage release of this style of Chardonnay results in an exciting fusion of baked apple, dried pineapple, quince, and coconut with layered vanilla and hints of smoke and honey. Old-world touches of mineral, walnut, and bright acidity balance the richness. It matures well in the cellar!
100% Chardonnay (single vineyard)
North Fork of Long Island
Stainless steel fermented and stirred on its lees for six weeks in tank. Matures in a combination of new and used French oak for 5 months. 100% Malolactic fermentation to round out the bright fruit.
A balanced, substantial chardonnay, this white has potential to stand up to anything which requires a white with some weight; fish, scallops, lobster, pork veal, chicken, turkey, medium firm cheeses, grilled vegetables. Great for the fall/winter months.
