Our second-vintage Chardonnay is a golden-hued fusion of mandarin, pineapple, peach, quince, and tapioca. Old-world touches of mineral and walnut and the lasting finish remind you of the time that craft and tradition can endure.
Crafted in a Burgundian method, this Chardonnay was stainless steel fermented and then aged sur-lies for two months. About 80% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation to boost the fruit, and it was finished with brief French oak maturation. The result is a fresh, clean, medium-bodied wine with only the hint of oak presence, and no butteriness. (615 cases made)
